The first Elli Foundation project began in 2016 with the distribution of car seats to parents. Families who recognized the sense of car seats for their child were supported in selecting and purchasing the right seats. The support included training on quality criteria and proper use, as well as financial support of up to 100% of the investment costs – especially for socially disadvantaged families, large families or families with disabled children. Funded by private donations and our partner institutions such as „Ein Herz für Kinder“ we were able to support around 450 families with a total of 570 car seats.
